Gigi Galore!



Lunch and Dinner at Gigi? Yea that's what happened!

For Lunch I had raw tuna with choclo (extra large corn nuts), aji amarillo (puree of a South American hot yellow chile pepper) and micro radish.



Dr. Loosen Riesling  to quench my thirst and for the lunch special of the day...totten oysters topped with diced mango.



This particular DAY visit at Gigi was a seafood feast.  To start off my late night meal I got an order of the raw octopus which comes with mojo, smoked fingerling potatoes, pickled sofrito and arugula.  This dish is served cold and leaves a light but long lasting spicy flavor lingering on your tongue.  It was pretty damn good to say the least.




Then as a dinner special for the day I ordered their heirloom tomato shrimp cocktail.  Lightly fried green tomato filled with cocktail sauce and adorned with seven scrumptious fresh shrimp.




Our generous server brought us a dessert on the house.  Bread & Pudding.  It was lovely served warm and a la mode!
