In the Design District of Downtown Miami where there are more galleries and boutique shops than anything else you have this small Pizzeria whose menu items are as eccentric as the area. But I mean this in a good way! The restaurant just opened up in November of 2011 and they are doing great. One little small coal fired oven next to the bar puts out these amazing pies.
This Pizza is called the Rock Shrimp Pizza and it has fresh rock shrimp, grilled lemon, scallion, cilantro and manchego cheese. The grilled lemon really does give this Pizza its character and awakens your tastebuds once you bite into one. The Pizzas are very personal in the sense that one order is large enough for one person, which is perfect.
