I have no clue how I came up with this one but it is one for the books.
Recipe:
Jack Daniels Whiskey
Orange
Almonds
Cinnamon Powder
Cayenne Powder
Brown Sugar
Take a skillet and crank up the heat to high. Make sure you have all your ingredients nearby and ready to grab and go because once the pan is hot, all that needs to be done is throw everything in. Once you see your pan is very hot just grab half of an orange and squeeze all the juice out, pour in some whiskey and add the desired amount of almonds. Stir it around for a couple seconds before adding the cinnamon powder, cayenne powder and about 2-3 tablespoons of brown sugar. Once you have added the last ingredients turn down the heat just a little bit to medium high and continue to stir. Once you see the liquid turn to a little watered down caramel-like consistent thickness turn off the heat and place over some wax paper or aluminum foil. Allow 15-20 minutes to cool down and harden and then you are all ready to dig in.
